Captain Danny Higley

Danny has fished Southern California for 18 years, working the decks of San Diego boats like the Sea Star and the Intrepid before running his own charter. He holds a 100 ton USCG captain's license.

Trips are run for families and first-timers as much as for regulars chasing a personal best. Kids 8 and up are welcome.

Good to know

How do I book?

Text or call Danny at (442) 222-9050, or email holacappycharters@gmail.com, with your date, trip and number of anglers. He'll confirm availability and how to pay the deposit.

Is there a deposit?

A 30% deposit holds your date. The balance is due on the day of the trip.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel at least 72 hours before the trip for a full refund or credit toward another date.

What about weather?

Danny makes the weather call. If he cancels for weather or sea conditions, you can reschedule or get a full refund.

Can kids come?

Yes, kids 8 and up are welcome.

Is alcohol or drug use allowed?

The boat has a zero tolerance drug policy.
